Experience
I have over 5 years experience in Spanish and English language tutoring. I'm currently the Spanish teacher at St. Bernard's School in Manhattan and was a Spanish teacher at Seton Hall Prep. I've taught ESL in various academies for 3 years, teaching to all levels and ages. I'm fully fluent in Spanish and in English; on top of being a heritage Spanish speaker, I lived in Spain for 3 years, worked as a journalist in Argentina for 3 months, and studied Latin American Literature in Ecuador for several weeks. I've worked as a journalist and editor for a variety of publications, the largest being the Argentina Independent in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I also directed the redesign of the student newspaper of Marist College, where I worked as News and Front Page Editor. I'm an Eagle Scout and was a dedicated Boy Scout, leader and camp counselor for seven years. Scouting really taught me the values of reliability, courtesy, teamwork and persistence.
