I received the honor of summa cum laude when I graduated from the University of Houston and earned my bachelor's degree in English literature. I minored in dance, as well. I have my certification to teach English to high school students, and have been doing so through the KIPP charter network. I have led honors-level classes for ninth and tenth graders. My love of the English language has always been evident, and it is what led me to pursuing my degree in college. I can also assist with elementary mathematics, public speaking, study skills, art, and dance.When I was in college, I had the pleasure of working with ESL students, helping them improve their writing skills and polish up their resumes. I feel that gaining a mastery of English empowers people to be able to speak for themselves. It is essential that the language be taught and used properly, and I can be a great asset in making sure that precision occurs. No matter your level of proficiency, whether you are native to another tongue, or just confused about the complex grammatical rules that exist, I can coach you to having full confidence in your command of English.I am a choreography and a performer, as well as a teacher. I also enjoy spending quality time with my friends.
