I recently received my bachelor's degree from Georgia State University in Finance and Actuarial Science. I tutored through college, and have many years of experience as a tutor. Throughout my time tutoring in college, I gained hands-on experience learning different styles of teaching and learning, and I gained the ability to quickly recognize the different methods and styles that were appropriate to each individual student that I tutored. My tutoring sessions have always been professional and rewarding, and I try to make them fun. I am a big believer in hard work, and I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment that I receive from taking on new challenges. I have a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and I work hard to impart these values to my students. I love teaching finance, statistics, algebra, and precalculus. In addition to these subjects, I can also tutor French, microeconomics, macroeconomics, business, and standardized test preparation. I believe that confidence is the key to success in any area, and I work hard to help my students realize their full potential, help them grasp important concepts and objectives for the given subject, and work through practice questions to build confidence. I am an avid reader and sports fan outside of school.
