EducationWesleyan University - BA, College of Letters
ExperienceA worldly and experienced tutor, I bring an enriching experience to struggling students. I've been all over the world. Therefore, I can interact with all different types of people fluidly. I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2013 with honors from the College of Letters. During my four years of undergraduate study, I spent a semester abroad in Italy at the University of Bologna, where I completed a thesis. After I graduated from Wesleyan, I moved to South Korea and taught English there. I am particularly fond of histories and Literature, but am comfortable teaching beyond those subjects. Mainly, I specialize in writing instruction. This is an area so many contend with, and I aim to bring passion together with writing to illicit passion. Most recently, I am taking a few courses myself, to prepare for entry into Medical School. This is an exciting time for me. I know I will be able to express my love of the sciences and use my experiences to mentor beginning students. Academic success is the key to life. A proper education can bring so many things to life. It can brighten and add potential to anyone's future. Aside from my zest for teaching and learning, I enjoy dancing, cooking, and relishing visual and performing arts.
HobbiesWhen I'm not studying (or at the lab) myself, I'm either at dance class, cooking a large meal for my friends, or appreciating the arts at a performance, gallery, or museum.
