Experience
I obtained my BA from Shanghai University where I specialized in Finance. Currently I am pursuing my MS in Finance degree in Simon Business School, University of Rochester. I tutor all levels of Chinese and Chinese culture. I have had an amazing experience tutoring so far. Back in my freshman year, I spend two month teaching kids from the remote southwest area of China. There I taught Mandarin and Math to children from 6 to 15. It is this unforgettable teaching camp made me fall in love with teaching. Not only have I taught a whole class, but I did personal tutoring for a whole year. I tutored three high school students with their Math and English test. I believe this gives me an insight into how to focus more on individual needs and find each of their own efficient way to learn. My teaching style is more adaptive than it is rigid. I am good at simplifying sometimes abstract and difficult concepts and relating them to everyday situations. I love creative expression of all forms: dance, art, music.
