Experience
I am currently in my third year of med school at the University of New England. As someone who has always been interested in health and medicine, I received my bachelor's degree in health sciences from Northeastern University. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I also worked as a part-time tutor and helped a number of my peers improve their understanding of math and science. In addition, I also hosted courses and worked in mentorship roles, where I used my own real-world experiences to help prepare people for success in the classroom and out in the world. I believe that teaching is one of the most rewarding experiences one can undertake. I enjoy watching my students improve over time and become more motivated as their grades start to improve. I also believe in developing rapport in the classroom so that I'm able to have a better idea of my students' strengths and weaknesses, as well as their unique needs and expectations. With this information, I'm then able to come up with lessons that are more engaging and are more effective for various learning styles. I'm currently living in New York City while I'm doing my clinical rotations. Aside from teaching and medicine, I like to spend my time with friends and family.
