Experience
I'm a tutor who is based out of New York City, where I enjoy playing tennis, bicycling, and volunteering when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my masters degree in mathematics from the University of Central Florida. As a tutor, I'm able to help students in a variety of subject areas. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been in algebra, calculus, statistics, and trigonometry, amongst other things. I have experience working with college freshmen and sophomores, who I taught college algebra and finite mathematics to. This experience was part of my role as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Central Florida. I also spent two semesters teaching statistics and probability at Valencia Community College. I've always had a passion for learning, and I love instilling that passion for knowledge in the students I work with. I break down complex subjects into easily digestible, bite-sized pieces of information that the student can more easily learn. I create individualized lesson plans that help my students get the absolute most out of our time together.
